FAR GATE HITS U.S. SHELVES SEPT. 11; UPDATED DEMO RELEASED

SEATTLE, WA, August 17, 2001 - The much anticipated U.S. release of "Far Gate", from Super X Studios, has finally been announced. The 3D outer-space real-time strategy game will reach shelves on September 11, published by Microids and distributed by Titus Interactive. Additionally, an updated demo has been released, which uses newer compression technology for a greatly reduced size (27.6 MB). The freely redistributable demo is available at http://www.superxstudios.com/FarGate/Downloads.htm. The content of the demo is the same as the original, and all sites hosting the old demo (with a size of 66.3 MB) should replace it with the newer one.
